Arthur was called to the bar of Ontario in 1975 and practised law for 25 years. He is the co-author of The Criminal Lawyers' Guide to Immigration and Citizenship Law (Canada Law Book, 1996). He is currently the Associate Editor and a columnist with Canada Free Press.
